My name is Madeline Piggin, I am in my first year of school at Thompson Rivers University. I am currently in the Bachelor of Arts program to eventually get in to the Bachelor of Education Program. Once I am done school I want to become an elementary school teacher, but for now I am helping run after schools sports and art programs for school district #73. I have always loved learning new things and was inspired by a variety of teachers to also become a teacher. I took History 1120 because I had to take a Canada content class to go towards my degree and I thought that pre confederation Canada would be interesting. This course was very different to classes I have taken in the past, it was set up to make you think differently about history. It was all about how to do history rather than focusing on the history event themselves. This course was a good challenge to push myself to think and write differently
